St. George

Well, I really find it hard to believe that it is a brand new year. I welcome it though with open arms. Now all I need to do is sit down and write down all of my goals that I would like to accomplish this year. Yeah, yeah, I know I should have done that before the year actually began, but what the heck, better late than never.

I started out the new year by flying back to Provo on the 2nd from Washington where I spent my time for Christmas. I will probably write more about that later though. After I flew home I pretty much got into the car and drove to St. George for work. I have to admit it was nice to be down there. It is much warmer than it is here in Provo. I think the majority of the time I was there in St. George it was around 60 degrees. The second night I was there I met up with Kaela Fisher (Thatcher) and her family. It was good to finally get to meet her husband. He is a cool guy, and I am happy now to know that Kaela found a great guy. We had dinner at the Olive Garden. Her son Kaden was awesome. He would pick up his spaghetti and hold it over the floor or over the table and basically threaten us that he was going to drop it. Every time we would do anything that he didn't want us to he would promptly reply, "Stop it." But, it really was good to catch up with Kaela. I think it had been about 6 years since the last time I saw her, and that was in Provo for "First Night" on December 31, 2001.

Temple Pics.
Well, I did get some pictures taken of the St. George, Utah Temple while I was down there. Unfortunately, they just aren't ready just yet. I have to clean them up a bit, and since I took 232 pictures, I figure I better figure out which ones I want to use to get on here. I will add another post with the pictures once I have finished.

It was great to see you! Paul thought you were a cool guy too. Thanks for putting up with us. I swear Kaden is entering the terrible two's a little early- yikes. I remember seeing you too that "First Night." We were both dancing the night away huh:) Looking forward to the St. George temple pics.
